A Little Bit About Me
I'm a fixer, an optimist and a giver. I'm one of those that tries my hand at everything and then go with what's stuck to me. I find more joy in giving my time helping others than I realize myself, I just don't find the same happiness in being selfish (Believe me, I've tried). I'm an awesome friend to anyone who needs one
because I truly believe in being one. (you never know when you'll need one some day so it's better to try helping out whoever needs you now)
I love I.T. more than I think I realize, and find myself going back to it over and over again. Not sure if it's the problem-fixing or the putting-together but It has me hooked.

I'm very active in the Muslim causes in my community and try doing my part to help create an awareness and understanding of what Islam is.

I volunteer for different organizations and try creating a platform between the culture I originally belong to and the culture I was raised in, in an Islamic manner.

I'm an awesome Hijabi that is proud of her Hijab (Alhumdulillah) and will not be taking it off if requested (Insha'Allah). (Sadly, I have to put that in there because of some who have asked that about me for after marriage)

Last but not least, I have this thirst for Islamic knowledge as of a few years ago, that I'm quenching with these amazing, thought-provoking, connection-making, history-recreating classes that I'm learning volumes from. That also have me learning Arabic as a by-product, which is awesome because it's finally starting to all make sense! Alhumdulillah

What I Am Looking For
I had written something different here before, but then I realized that I'm not even looking for someone that specific. I think the best way to describe what I'm looking for, what anyone is looking for, is someone that gets me. Yea I want for him to be amazing and have good manners and all, but what really matters in life is that who you're with understands you or makes every effort to. That's when you really start to work well as a unit as opposed to just 2 individuals.

What are some things important to me: Someone born/raised in America/Canada from a good family. It would be nice to share an Indo/Paki background with them, but it's not a requirement. Respectful, well-mannered, open-minded and fun-loving is a plus. Someone who I can have an intellectual conversation with, who will count my strengths as opposed to weaknesses is an even bigger plus :).
